Sep 27, 2009 · Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals. Planes also have the guard command, but it only targets ground units. Planes capable of air to air have the air patrol command (shortcut "r") which is basically the same thing, but in the air. You would have known this from reading the manual, though. Actually, Guard will attack both air AND ground, while Air Patrol will only target air units.
